Biography
Ahmet Eren Aras chose maritime law from the outset — completing his bar internship at a well-known maritime law office and building his practice entirely within the field ever since. A honors graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Law and a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, he works in English and Turkish across a broad range of maritime matters: vessel arrests, charterparty and cargo disputes, demurrage, agency conflicts, P&I club advisory, and seafarer employment issues. He manages mediation sessions and dispute resolution proceedings between parties, and is equally comfortable in the courtroom and in the field. In under two years of practice, he has taken on a scope and complexity of work that speaks for itself.
